My favorite fashion item of the moment is the scarf. It doesn't matter which scarf, just various scarves with various outfits. Scarves serve so many purposes and go with so many other accessories - from silver clutch bags to jewellery. They can be used to keep you warm by covering up your neck or back, to keep you modest by covering up skin when skin is inappropriate, or just as a fashionable addition to a plain outfit. You can use scarves to put a pop of color or a bit of pattern into your normal jeans and blouse. Scarves can also be worn in various manners. One person might loop in into itself while another might wrap it around several times. It allows each person to show their unique self through a simple and fairly inexpensive accessory. Plus, they are great for the chilly autumn weather and activities. Overall, scarves are just a great addition to your wardrobe, and don’t just buy one, buy many! |

Let's face it: women love jewelry. This probably doesn't come as a surprise to most men out there who a couple times out of the year have to go out there to find the perfect gift for their significant others. The problem is, there are only so many times you can get them a ring, or a gold necklace before they all just start to meld into one. That's why you may want to try something different next time you are looking to buy jewelry and get her pearl earrings. Before you automatically think that you aren't going to be able to afford them, pearl earrings actually cost a lot less than you would imagine. In fact, if you aren't worried about the grades or minor imperfections (and we mean really minor), you can get pearl earrings for a lot less than that ring you got last anniversary. You can find more info on the internet. |

Once again its that time of year again. The temperature keeps rising, the beaches are packed, and the good times are among us. When buying gifts, we once again have to re-evaluate things like jewellery gift ideas to take into account the new season.
And also we need to re-evaluate our fashion choices too. Before I go out though I got to put on my favorite summer time accessory the dago tee. Thats my typical beach gear a dago tee and some shorts. What can I say I live the good life. I like the dago tee so much because it lets me show off my sleeves. Plus they help show all the extra effort put into the gym. No matter what when I go to the beach the combination of tee and tats is a lethal magnetic dose to womens eyes. Thats why I never go to the beach with out one. So since its the summer time and when my friends are trying to find me they already know where to look and what to look for. The tee and tats plus the group of on lookers. You might think this story is on the fiction side but trust me its not. |

It is said that pearl jewelry brings out the luster in its wearer’s complexion. Pearls have a unique versatility and can be worn with almost any outfit. Wearing pearl jewelry with an evening dress conveys understated elegance while a single strand of pearls is acceptable office attire. Even summer wear such as shorts and sundresses are complimented perfectly by pearls.
Accessorizing with pearl jewelry never seems out of date. The pearls worn by Queen Elizabeth seem as fashionable and chic as those favored by Jackie O and currently by Sarah Jessica Parker.
Pearls come in a variety of shapes, sizes and colors. The iridescent gem is used in a variety of settings. Multistrand pearl chokers have long been a fashion staple along with the traditional single strand necklace. The current trend seems to focus on longer strands or the combination of several strands but it is clear that pearl jewelry is a fashion mainstay. |

Recently I attended the wedding of my brother to his wife. He happens to be my best friend. It had been a quick engagement and the day itself was simple yet beautiful. The bride wore one of the most beautiful bridal tiaras I'd ever seen. Only close family and a handful of friends had been invited to the small chapel. She looked stunning in her wedding gown, that was a classic cut to a traditional style. My mother and aunts cried as she walked the short distance down the aisle. Although the ceremony was short it was perfect for them and their day. There wasn't a professional photographer. But of course we all had cameras and took enough images to fill a couple of photo albums so that we can all look back on the day with happy memories. The highlight for me was the dinner that they shared with us. It was a time to talk about their relationship and their future together. |

On a beach in Hawaii, On a hot June afternoon, I kick off my escape shoes and I lay out on a towel on the beach. The sun is high in the sky, it's noon, and already ninety degrees out. I stuff my toes deep into the warm sand, and wait for the moment when every piece of my body is ready to jump into the sweet blue depths of the pacific ocean. As I lay there, waiting for the moment, I look around me and enjoy the view. I watch a dog, and his owner, walk across the Lava rock Path to get to this little piece of Sandy beach. I see a Little Boy and his dad making castles in the Black sand, laughing and giggling, enjoying one another's company. I notice a gentle breeze pick up, and watch it take the woman sitting a few feet from me's hat and send it spiraling toward the ocean. It's my moment! I stand up quickly, run toward the ocean, and dive in. The sound of the water as I push my way threw it, there's nothing like it. The water is chill on my skin, but feels wonderful.I quickly snatch up the woman's hat,to return it to her. With a Smile, and a warm Aloha, She offer's me a Ice cold Bottle of water. I take the water, with a humble Mahalo (Thank you)and I make my way back to my towel, to start the routine all over again. |

As a child, make-up was a mystery. I remember going through my mother’s make up and finding so much in there… Lipsticks, blushes and everything in between was available in different shades! It was a treasure trove! But as with any treasure was a guard dragon…not that I’m comparing my own mother to a dragon. However, like one, she punished me for touching her cosmetics!
Needless to say, I was left to play with make-over dolls, instead.
Eventually, though, my friends started using real make-up and I wanted it for myself. I saved up to buy some, but when I did, I found that I did not know how to use it! I poured through different magazines just to learn, but to no avail.
Surprisingly, my struggle ended on its own. I seem to have learned how to apply makeup alone, as time passed. I realized that learning how to put make up on is a struggle every girl goes through. So if you’re going through the same thing, don’t worry. It’s perfectly normal and you are going to learn, in time, as well. |
