The different ranks I have to pass through to be successful in my company.

After college, I got a job immediately in one of the call centers in this country. I am currently working in the call center although in a higher rank now. In this call centre, everybody is first hired as a trainee, then after two months depending on one's performance, one is taken to a higher level. In this level, one will be doing the same work but the pay will go higher since they will no longer be trainees. Future promotion from this level will now depend on one's performance and flexibility. Once one is promoted, they are first taken through leadership training because higher ranks are all involved with management. The leadership course will equip you with the skills required to perform well in your new position. You may be put in charge of sales promoters, customer care representatives, or even a general manager like me. As the market continues to diversify, the type of leadership training offered changes too in order to suit the current market. Appointment to a higher position from this level will require specialized type of training in leadership. A degree in management is preferred.
